Thnx for that link... will have that Maxwell Centre listed... I used to like Chicken Rice too...
My hawker source was wayyyy back found in Queenstown... after a good sleep till midday.
Chicken rice with BBQ spring chicken on the side makes a great afternoon meal.
I believe that satellite town has been wiped out to urban changes....

Guys goin back SG from Johor Bahru..
Do take note of beating the red light @ junction before CIQ checkpoint, on the way back to SG. Read here.
I kena on 5th Dec, its a 50%/50%, but tough luck being the last car.. RM $50 :$gone:

will update the coordinates later.

Aaah... sneaky buggars those Malaysian Police are... maybe... it'll be handy to stick up a small Malaysian flag by the bonnet hé? :-$

Is the queue very long at this checkpoint that one's patience or agitation gets over the rational on being careful in not being too hasty? You got fined after all?

The Johor GG at Thamara Cafe, Taman Bukit Indah, Skudai - Johor. (N1°28.781' E103°39.839') is approximately midway between the 2nd link and the JB causeway ( approx 20km both directions ), thus fellow members going back to Sin has a choice to go either way.

Singaporeans who want to do shopping can do at nearby AEON Jusco ( N1 28.913 E103 39.335 ) or Sutera Mall ( N1 31.050 E103 40.254 ) which are huge malls without going into JB main town.

Unless there is a reason, I would prefer the 2nd link as less traffic ( avoid Saturday night dinner/shopping crowd ) and also smoother drive as it is mostly highway.
