Use mapsource

Open Mapsource

Click "Receive From Device"

Pull down menu, select GMXT

Select Track

I did as per instruction, an error message appear:

"Some maps could not be opened because the follwoing MapSource products are not installed:
MFM POI091207
MFM Road POI091207
"

But I am sure I had the latest maps install in my PC. Any help?

Yes you might have installed the latest MFM map, BUT did you select the MFM map in mapsource as your active map when you sync data from GMXT

You could have a lot of maps in mapsource and could have accidentally select another map thus the cause of the error.

Yes you might have installed the latest MFM map, BUT did you select the MFM map in mapsource as your active map when you sync data from GMXT

You could have a lot of maps in mapsource and could have accidentally select another map thus the cause of the error.

I can see the Maps that currently loaded is "MalFreeMaps MY/SG/BN 091207", I assume that is the active maps that my MapSource are using rite?

If not, how can I set the "active" map for the MapSources ?

I closed the MapSource and Re-Launch it, it will automatically loaded the maps that I mention above, but on the left panel, the Maps section is empty.

I set the Receive from Device, then it said "The data was successfully received", then follow by the MFM POI not install message.

After this, the left pannel, Maps showing all the MFM maps with all the region.

There is a disconnect between versions in Mapsource and your GMXT. What version MFM have you got in your GMXT ?

I am using Garmin Mobile XT to track the track log, and I save it in my phone, but I can't find the file to get it to export to use with mapsources.

Any idea can help?

This is the 3 steps that I follow, but no "left" key........
