Bro alyem, plan an alternative place cos this few days it is raining from morning till late afternoon, unless you are going only for the night safari.....

How's the Night Safari?

It is something that kids will enjoy. Watching animals at night is something you normally do not have chance to experience in real life.

From an adult's point of view, the show is at night, so do not expect to see much. It is bedtime la .... so most "koon"

As I said, it is more for kids. One time enough .... Also it is not cheap to go ... $22 per adult ands $11 bucks per kid. For family of 3 already $55 .... Almost RM150 :$gone:

Bro, I must correct the "koon" time for the animals.

All animals are most active at nite. Going to the nite safari is my liking. The animals can be seen unless its time you koon. Taking the tram first, you will be taken round the safari where you are very close to some of the animals (almost can touch them) After the round with the tram, take a walk around those areas not covered by the tram. It is cooling at nite whereas in the daytime, rain or shine it becomes very humid. The big cats will laze around in the day time unlike they move about in the nite.

So to cut short, come for the GG and go back in time for the Nite Safari :peace: :peace:

Can't see much of the animals shouldn't be deem as a negative feedback. Before you step into the Night Safari, you gotta understand the concept of a night zoo. Its aim is to display nocturnal animals which are very active at night otherwise it defeats the purpose as some animals are not night creature and for them it is the 'kooning' time when it is dark. In order to capture the ambience and to stay as faithful to its natural habitat as possible, the lighting in the Night Safari is kept to a minimum and in areas where it is necessary to highlight them. That's why in most places, especially the animal display enclosures it is quite deem. If there are spotlights everywhere to ensure that visitors can see clearly all the animals on display, then it defeats the purpose as the animals are not used to such glaring lights and might be frighten off. That's why they also do not encourage camera flash which might startle them. So, if you want to have an enjoyable night at the Night Safari, having a keen eyes for details especially in a nocturnal setting helps otherwise, to some who are not used to such a "dark" setting, it can be boring.
