i would like to buy a karaoke system for my parent, but i know nothing about this, any advice or recommendation please?

Convert an old PC to a full system like what you see at Karaoke joint..just buy software

Why use PC when all you need is a huge hard disk and a media player hooked to your flatscreen with a HDMI cable ... watch movies, or play karoke :thumbsup:

Can meh.... :-k , you still need an amplifier and mic to fine tune the sound so can sing like Andy lau wor.... :mrgreen:

Saw it at SLS, China wawa selling. Cannot remember which floor as every floor got a few of them selling the same stuff ...

All the songs are organize and categorise in various category, provide search by song name, artiest, ....etc. On top of that
to queue the songs and able to cut or jump queue.Also to cut/reduce vocal and only music for singing..A full real karaoke
system that is used commercially for the price of RMB 440 (about RM210). http://www.oukay.com/Product_Okv_Home.htm

Connect the PC to AV Amps and TV or LCD.. You will have a full system.

convert your old amp or dvd player to a karaoke system by adding a hdd in. quite cheap oni.
