SLA-MFM MAP

Postby fresh » Tue Dec 01, 2009 11:44 am

HI all,

I had downloaded and install the MFM-Garmin 091130 into my nuvi200. Notice that the postal codes search not found to most of the industrial/ Commercials area... not much problem searching for HDB area though.. was it due to presently, the map had 17,000 postal codes with mostly are residential areas? Need to run most to commercials/ industrials areas for meetings but always postal codes not found. Will purchasing of SLA-MFM solve my problem? Pls advice thanks! :tq:

SLA Postal Code database as provided to commercial GPS resellers in Sin is as updated as time it was released.

Best experienced it yourself at a GPS reseller who stock sets which has it.

Hi Silverbeauty,

if that the case...is it worth it to buy the SLA-MFM Map for more comprehensive postal code search?
Presently it is retailing at $30 and understand that previously this map was given free for download for a limited time and limited downloads..

To buy or not to buy, if you feel it meets your needs, the choice is yours.

Personally, it is a good to have and not a must have.

I normally navigate via Building name / POI. As long as it gets me to the vicinity, I can find the company / factory / office etc ....

Main Menu - WhereTo - Address - Change Country - Enter Country ( Singapore ) - Select Singapore SLA Address/PostCode - SearchAll - Skip House Number ( Done ) - Enter PostCode - Done

Unit will search for PostCode.
