hard reset troublesome la... i'll lose all my apps and games, and too much effort and time to re-install everything. maybe next time when i upgrade the memory card la. for now i'll have to make do with 091221, not that it's too outdated anyway.

What i did to save my time to install apps after hard reset is make a special folder for them (only signed apps).
All can be done just a few clicks because I do not need to fire up FreeSigner to install them anymore.
Just my 2cents.

what i like most about this new firmware, is when some one calls you, when ur screen is locked, you have to slide the screen to answer..

really nice.. i was envious when my friend upgraded his HTC's firmware to include that function.. now i have it on my 5800!!

unable to serch the location

Postby sglalang » Fri Jan 22, 2010 10:42 am

there are quite a number of situations that my Garmin XT on N5800 were unable to search the location.
I don't know if this is due to the setting problem or something else. Why don't you guys have a try on below address;

32 Jalan Gemilnag 3, Taman Perindustrian Cemerlang, 81800 Ulu Tiram, Johor. (N01 deg 32.912 min, E103 deg 49.465min)

I tried using other search mode such as "Points of Interest" also cannot.
Please help if you have the solution.
Thanks!

Is that a typo? Anyway, I have no issues finding "Jalan Gemilang 3" in my WM GMXT (using Address search). After keying in "Gemilang 3", I've got a few results, and the one you referred to is listed as "Jalan Gemilang 3, Plentong, JHR".
