I was using 7-zip and after changed to winrar, it worked
Hope this helps for anyone who's facing the problem.
I was meddling again with the files yesterday and found one ttf file inside the folder.
Tried changing a few fonts by replacing the ttf file and renaming it to the original filename. It worked, the fonts changed but then because this is taiwan version, the chinese characters won't show. But the english characters all shown in nice bold fonts
EDIT:
Also found out the sound files are actually .wav files.
Just extract them from the folder and rename gwv to wav and u can hear it.
Now you can put ur own startup tone or alert tone by renaming ur wav files to gwv. Have fun
I m trying to find the menu files and try to change it to english
Toytoy,
May I know which file you change for the fonts. Is there any screen capture I can view. I would like to change the fonts as the fonts for Mal Sing version is too thin making it a bit difficult for an old guy to see![]()

akira01 wrote:Papago Taiwan M6.2 comes with TTS. Does MFM map support this? I think 6.2 only added TTS and if it cannot be used, then no point to update.
Please advise. Thanks

You can add your own favourite, can this be consider customized poi.I just updated to the latest maps again Jan 27. So far it has beenworking well except that battery life may be an issue. Just bought a Belkin micro car charger, now all I need is a long USB cable and I am all set.
