I'm using d Pro version and facing difficulty on locking satelites, any reason why? eventhough i have naked my iphone (free of protect cover) and sat under Mamak stall with wide open sky above... still unable to lock the satelite after i'd finished my teh tarik... :frus: :frus: so if i changed to google maps, it's only took less than 1 sec to lock my position...

Hi tm1505,

A friend had a similar issue, a Shift Restore then reinstall solve the problem.

May I know which version will appeared in the papago once you change the map version?

Because I've changed to C100127 but still shown as 090626?

Plus, I realized the UI is not very smooth..there's considerable lag between the sub menus. Has this occurs to anyone else or is it because I'm using 3.1.3 fw? :-?

tm1505,

DO NOT DO ANY SHIFT RESTORE as Apple just launch a new firmware 3.13 which is I think is not jailbreak able unless you wish to do so. If you wish to proceed you will need to download the firmware then do a Shift Restore in iTune then point to the firmware that you just download and it should erase your iPhone and install the latest firmware.

Just bought Papago SG & MY version. I've noted that there are differences between Papago built-in MFM map and the custom map downloaded from MFM.

1. The road name (text) is bigger in PPG built in Map (version 0906xx - can't remember). MFM custom map text is very much smaller. Sometime difficult to see.

2. The icon (when taping on the screen), PPG icon looks better which is similar to the one google map use in iphone. MFM - a home icon will show.

Since I have updated the map to the latest one, I did not investigate further on other differences. Are there any way to solve the above?

Pls advise. Thanks

I'm new to this... when I purchase apps in itunes, must my iphone be connected to the computer? Or I can purchase then download the installer into my computer then transfer to the iphone?

I tried not to replace MapAniPOI.psz and the icon (tapping on the screen) will be PPG default one but will lost some MFM customize POI icons. Well I can live with that.

The only problem remain now is the font size. May I know which file contain the font size so that I can use back PPG default one instead of MFM ones. The letter is so small and with my eyesight, I have difficulty in reading them.

Pls advise. Thanks

So meaning I can just purchase Papago M6 pro first, then download it completely to my computer then later, after getting my iphone 3GS, just connected to my computer then transfer it to the phone? Non "freed" phone wor.
