Papago M6/M7/M8 for iPhone & iPod Touch

I just purchased the app and installed in my iPhone 3G (non jailbreak). When I passed by speed trap areas, M6 doesn't alert me at all (as usually alerted by my Garmin XT).

Does it mean that this release never include speed trap alert, though in iTunes it did state there are more than 220 fixed speed cameras included.

Here is the problem i got.. First, it able to LOCK the satellite location.. But, i am not able to do NAVIGATION.. When i click on SEACH location.. I try to type in address. And i notice that i am not able to type in a FULL address.. Then, i just type in Jalan Miami Green & click search.. This is what i am getting..Then, how to do navigation? pls advice..Tq

How to use it for NAVIGATION.. I launch the app. Click the ROAD SEARCH. I which to key in the address such as 199, Jalan PP19/19 Taman. Then, i am stuck.. No more space for entering the address. Like that how to Navigate? If i continue with Search. The from the top it return result Matched 199, Jalan PP19/19, Taman.. And the click is light blue in color.. Tat is all.. I can only click BACK button..

To change the font you have to ssh to ur navi folder. Inside you will find one bgtr00m.ttf file.

I would suggest to back this file up b4 doing any changes.

Just replace this file with any TTF file of your choice and rename it to bgtr00m.ttf.

e.g. rename arial.ttf to bgtr00m.ttf and the font will change.

But i found out only bigger font files are supported.

I tried using calibri but doesn't work.

YES, i think had update the map. I copy the MFM folder from C:\navi\MFM to my iphone /navi/maps/MFM folder. After that, i launch my the papago on my iphone. The map ver is malfreemaps.com 100203... So, i believe i had successfully update the map. where to see Junction view?

I had bough the Pro ver too. And able to SSH my iphone..And i wish to update my MY/SG 09626 map to MFM-PPG-C100122.exe. So, i just download the EXE and copy the entire thing back to iphone /navi/maps/MFM folder? Pls advice..
I have yet to see the JUNCTION VIEW.. how to show that?. TQ

After downloading the map you need to run on your PC and select Android X5 and the installation would create a folder C:\navi\mfm folder I think as I am not on that PC right. Only then you copy via SSH to your iphone.

for those who still don't know how to setup. here's the steps i got from the previous topic. maybe mods can pin it up for easier reference?

And heres the steps, and remember guys, "PLEASE BUY THE ORIGINAL SOFTWARE" its only USD9.90 from itunes..support the developer and get the free update in future.

1. Of cource, buy Papago Taiwan from itunes and install into your iphone (it might take sometime to download, 465MB)
2. Download Papago Android X5 map (please dont ask me where to download)
3. Extract it, you will be able to see 28 files in total.
4. SSH your iphone (please google yourself to find out how to SSH into your iphone, I am using WinSCP, but you need wifi connection)
5. go to /private/var/mobile/Applications/C3C25D61-0DD8-4E90-8288-AC3E7A1A82CE/PAPAGO! Taiwan.app/Navi/Maps/TW (if you cant find the C3C25xxx folder, try open the rest one by one, im not sure whether the folder name will be the same or not)
6. Replace the Android X5 map with the files inside the folder, EXCEPT MapAniPOI.psu (I think this is the file where make the icon gone all wrong) & R51_prp.kuf (if you replace this file, you will NOT able to see the "选单"), and remember, please change the Octal permission to 0755 for each file you replace (26 files).
7. Unplug your iphone sync cable, give your iphone a kiss, say thanks to malfreemaps & me

i followed all the above steps, installed the latest maps. everything is working smoothly. POI and roads can search. will try it later when i go out and see if the Icons etc are working fine.

i just install papago with latest map... work ok .. but i got few question where i not understand,,,,

- after upgrade the latest mfm map,, i found that the icon represent my car is missing,,,any one facing this before?

- regarding the item 6, is that mean both file need to keep and not overwrite it?

- regarding the below rename file? did i still need to do that?

I just rename & overwrite one file. Which is MapAniPOI.psu MapAniPOI.psz.. The rest of the file untouch. And it is working great. I did not see any icon representing my car too..
