Question on Speed Cameras and Redlight Cmeras
Hi i'm new here. I want to find out whether speed cameras and redlight cameras are supposed to show up in the SG map? So far even though I have enabled speed camera, it doesn't appear. Can anyone help?

Re: Question on Speed Cameras and Redlight Cmeras
Maps by itself will not alert you to speed cameras / traps. You have to download the alert file from here

Overd0se, you did not specify which device you are using. Are you referring to MFM Papago custom map with built-in speed camera warnings?

Hi,
Thanks for the link. I'm using Papago R5800 X5. Is the link valid for me?

What I mentioned is valid for Garmin devices only.
I do not have Papago so will leave it for Brothers with Papago units to comment.

Although MFM Papago custom map includes speed camera warnings, the data originates from Garmin Custom POIs maintained by Bro Stratman2 (the link that Bro Silverbeauty posted earlier). Unfortunately this database includes POIs within Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah/Sarawak only, hence there would be no speed warnings in and around Singapore.

Bro dvpro,
There is redlight camera for Singapore (courtesy of ccplim) added to the list of Garmin Custom POIs. So if Papago uses same source of custom POIs, then it should include redlight camera for Singapore.
No speed camera for Singapore released yet.

However, I believe Papago X3 and X5 custom version support speed camera warnings only.chaicka wrote:There is redlight camera for Singapore (courtesy of ccplim) added to the list of Garmin Custom POIs. Re: Question on Speed Cameras and Redlight Cmeras
i was driving past a speed camera and quickly added it to My Favourite, and classed it under Speed Camera. but the next time i went past the same speed camera, i was not given any warning whatsoever at all. is it something i did wrong?
