My GPS was purchased from a local French Hypermarket. No brand name, but was informed made in taiwan. Are they using legitimate M3 papago x3 or maybe they have managed to modify Taiwan's version?

The application file is navi24800.exe. Apart from the above problem, everything is ok except slight lag (1 or 2 second) on the position shown on the screen as compared to your actual position. So my question is, if I purchase your x5 (if the papago x3 is not from you), can it be used on this unit? and, will it resolve the above problem? (fatal error, reduce lag etc).
Best regards
As stated on Maction web site, only these devces are authorised to pre-install and sold with the devices.
http://www.mactiontech.com/News/NewsDetails.aspx?Nid=82With exception of Papago software for Window Mobile , Android & iPHone, which you can buy in software packages.
Those on WinCE platform PND , the software X3, X5 are pre-install in the GPS devices.
If the GPS which you purchased has no names (or not in the list given above) then it is high chances that they have
given you a cracked version or pirated copy of the software. I would advise you to approach the "French Hypermarket"
and seek clarification.
Hope this clarify
